This late 18th century guilloche ring features green enamel, a central old mine cut diamond and natural seed pearls.

Not only is it beautiful but incredibly rare as the enamelling of similar jewellery during this period was more popularly executed in blue, you will find it difficult to track down another green enamel piece in the great condition.

Guilloché is a decorative technique in which a very precise, intricate and a repetitive pattern is mechanically engraved on a metal surface or other material. I love the patterns on this ring, it's rather hypnotic and enjoyable to look at.

The band on this ring was added later on, it is most likely was a centre piece that belonged to bracelet and was given a new life as a ring. There is also a pearl repaired, given she is more than 200 years old and a worn piece, she is still in great condition.

This ring features a 0.25 ct foiled back natural diamond
